On November 4th, the Gainesville, FL chapter of the Right Care Alliance collaborated with the University of Florida Diabetes Institute to hold a Diabetes Awareness Fair near City Hall. The fair included music, speakers, and educational tables, to raise awareness among patients and clinicians alike about the struggle of managing diabetes when treatment is unaffordable.
Other event partners included the Empowered Patient Coalition and the UF College of Veterinary Medicine.
