Today, Americans pay the highest price in the world for prescription drugs, and in 2015 alone, the five largest drug corporations raked in more than $50 billion in profits. And yet, Donald Trump's FDA Commissioner, Dr. Scott Gottlieb, seems more concerned with pharmaceutical profits than lower drug prices for U.S. families.
In the absence of any real action by the Trump administration to lower drug prices and eliminate big pharma's monopoly power, it's up to Congress to act.
Sign the petition to Congress demanding action. Instead of rewarding drug companies that take advantage of the system, we must regulate drug prices and protect the American people from big pharma's price gouging.
TO: EVERY MEMBER OF CONGRESS At a time when drug companies are spending more money on stock buybacks than on research and development, we know where big pharma's priorities lie. We can't count on the pharmaceutical industry to put the rights of patients before their corporate profits. WE DEMAND THAT YOU REGULATE DRUG PRICES and stand with the American people over the profits of the pharmaceutical industry.
