Right Care Boston is a coalition of Boston-area health care professionals and the general public supported by the Lown Institute’s Right Care Alliance. Members of Right Care Boston believe that the way to repair our broken health care system is to engage the general public in a large scale, broad-based, grassroots effort to take control of health care and make it do what it’s supposed to do – serve the public good. Currently representing more than 100 participants who convene town halls and hold regular planning meetings, Right Care Boston is mobilizing public will in the region to create a health care system that honors its central mission.

Members of Right Care Boston are conducting Listening Tours – visits to various communities and locations, like senior centers, co-housing residencies, and classrooms, to ask people what they want from their health care. By listening to their concerns, we are learning what’s most important to patients and their families now as health care discussions across the nation continue. Learn more here.
